Your first visit

Your first visit starts with your hair as it is

We spend the first half hour on a conversation, not on the cut.

At the consultation your stylist looks at your hair dry, feels its density and where it coils, and asks what you want it to do. You leave with a plan, the time it will take and the stylist who will do it. Many clients book the cut for the same day.

What happens, in order.

  1. 01

    Step 1: Book your visit

Book a consultation on the booking page, or call us. There is no deposit, and we confirm by text or email.

  2. 02

    Step 2: What to bring

Photos of shapes you like and shapes you don't, and anything you want your stylist to know about your hair.

  3. 03

    Step 3: When you arrive

Come as you are, a few minutes early. There is street parking on Pearl Street and a public lot a short walk away.

  4. 04

    Step 4: What to expect

A conversation, a look at your hair dry and a plan. If there is time and you want to, we start the shape the same day.

Start with a consultation

Tell us what you want your hair to do, and we will plan the shape and the time it takes.
